Delete your Youmory account

In the app

1. Open the Settings tab.
2. Tap Profile.
3. Tap Delete my account, then confirm with Delete.

The account is deleted straight away. You don’t need to ask anyone, and there is no waiting period.

Without the app

If you no longer have Youmory installed, email support@youmory.app with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address you signed in with, so we can tell the account is yours. If you used Sign in with Apple and hid your email, tell us that and we’ll find another way to confirm it’s you. We delete the account within 30 days and write back once it’s done.

What is deleted

Your profile (name, email address and profile picture), the places you’ve checked in, your collection, your friendships and anyone you’ve blocked, and the postcards you sent or received. Postcards you sent disappear from your friends’ apps too. This cannot be undone.

What is kept

• Purchase records, for up to ten years, as German tax law requires.
• Usage and crash data, which isn’t linked to your name or email. Ask in your email if you want it erased too.

If you only want to remove some of your data, you can do that in the app: delete individual check-ins or postcards, remove your profile picture, or remove friends.
